Since cookies are persistent, you might not see the effect of your choice immediately after changing one of the extension settings.
For example, if you accepted the cookies for a website and now you want to reject all of them, you either have to use that website cookie consent settings (good luck finding it), or just clear the cookies for the website and make your choice again, using the “Clear cookies and reload” button.
The extension uses Mozilla’s https://github.com/mozilla/cookie-banner-rules-list, which is updated once in a while. If you want to be sure of pulling the latest version, click the “Update rules” button.
You can either choose to open an Issue on GitHub, add the option to the https://github.com/mozilla/cookie-banner-rules-list if you have the technical knowledge, or simply make a custom rule for yourself.
To do that, you can click the “Select choice” button and then click on the default choice you want to make for the current website. Keep in mind that the extension simply remembers the first item you tap, so at the moment it’s easier if you click on “Accept All” than the “Manage or Reject cookies” that opens a second menu. I‘m trying to figure out a solution to this problem.
If you use the same browser on multiple device (e.g.: Google Chrome on Windows and Google Chrome on Android) the preferences should automatically sync between your devices (if you are logged in with the same account).
To fix this, you should right click on the extension, and set the permission to work on all websites.
